Orient-Macksburg and Prescott Schools hired a new shared superintendent this year. Doug Latham has nearly a decade of experience as a superintendent.

“For the past two years, I was up at Spirit Lake,” Latham tells Creston Radio News. “I was superintendent up there at Spirit Lake. Prior to that, I was over at Earlham. I was superintendent in that district for seven years. My wife works for AEA 11. She's an ESL consultant in that area. I've got two grown children. Both of them graduated from Earlham. My daughter is a dental assistant, and my son works for Yellow Freight.”
